My friend had a very disheartening experience while driving through the town on Feb.9, 2017. I can't believe that this 50'S type behavior still continues. He was asked to pull over at a road block upon which his license was literally ran. His coworker, who is Caucasian, was in front of him. His license was merely looked at and given back. He along with all other Caucasians were merely passed through with a simple glance. My friend along with all the other African-Amercians were asked to pull over and their license were ran through the system. My question to the Sgt. present and the police chief is this...In your town do you really believe that only blacks could have suspended licenses and warrants? What a sad day to see that this behavior is still happening. My friend's coworker felt the need to apologize for the behavior of the three officers. I on the other hand felt the need to press for answers. Shame on the Sgt. present along with the two officers who went along by condoning this racist type behavior.
